• A:Answer Hello, Fire tablets can detect the following Wifi networks: Single-antenna dual-band wifi. Supports public and private wifi networks or hotspots that use the dual-band 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, or 802.11n standard with support for WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security using password authentication; does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) wifi networks. WiFi 6 (802.11 ax) is not currently supported. If the network requires a password to join, you can enter it on the Fire tablet.

• A:Answer Hey Joan, while Amazon Prime does cost something depending on which plan you choose (monthly or yearly plan), it is not required for Fire tablets to function. The credit card information is being requested so if you decided to purchase content (books, movies, games, etc.) you don't have to repeatedly enter your information and should save you time.

• A:Answer Hello, Joe. You can read in direct sunlight and adjust the brightness of your display, but the Fire Tablet is not specifically made for that. The Kindle E-Readers are made with only reading in mind, and they are better suited for reading in the sunlight. • A:Answer Hello Sky, with the Fire 7 you can download videos from Prime Video to watch later when you may not be connected to the internet. Download them at home, then have your daughter watch them on the road.

• A:Answer Hello, JM! Currently, Display Mirroring is only supported by Fire Tablets released in 2015. Later models do not support this feature. If you happen to have a 2015 model, follow these steps: 1. From your Fire tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings. 2. Tap Display, and then tap Display Mirroring. Your Fire tablet will start to search for compatible devices within range. 3. Tap the name of your TV or media streaming device to connect. Connecting to your TV can take 20 seconds. 4. To stop mirroring the screen, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Stop Mirroring. I hope this helps! Have a great day!

• A:Answer Hi Rose, Internet tethering is typically the ability to share an internet connection with another device. The Fire Tablet does not have built in internet, it would need to utilize a WiFi source or if you have a mobile device that is capable, you can use that as a hotspot for your tablet. Typically the Advanced section on the tablet will show you blue tooth information such as what your device is visible as. Have a great day!
