• Tablet is WiFi enabled but it does not come with a data plan. You need to connect the tablet to an available WiFi when outside. If you have Amazon membership you can download the content at home WiFi and view it on the go even though there is no WiFi available when traveling.

• Hello, Sky! The Fire HD 8 Kids tablet does not have its own WiFi connection. There would need to be WiFi available for the tablet to connect to in order to use the tablet on WiFi. You can use a hot spot or any open WiFi network to connect. Once connected, you will have full access to the features on your tablet. There are things you can do with the tablet off of WiFi, like reading downloaded books or playing games/apps that don't require the internet. I hope that information is helpful. Have a great day!
