“What is the difference between a kids fire tablet and a regular fire tablet?”

• This one has separate profiles. When on the parental profile it is just like any other tablet. On the child's profile it only has age appropriate things for the child....games. books, coloring, videos, movies. My granddaughter watches a lot of youtube. I was able to download YouTube on the parental profile, then add it to the child's profile. Hope this helps.
