• It is not pre-installed. Go to apps and choose the one that is age appropriate. Sorry it took so long. If you have other questions I am sur the geek squad can answer most of them. I'm new at this too.

• This is an Amazon tablet. YouTube is a Google product. There is no app for YouTube with this tablet. You have to use their silk browser and open up YouTube in a web page it's not very easy it's not very seamless and it's not smooth. But it is possible.
