• Heavy duty case that protects device if it is handled roughly or dropped. I am not sure that it would float.

• Nope. Lol. Buy the accident protection plan if that's what you need it to do. The case is just a super thick rubber that adds shock absorpsion. Does not have a screen protector or seal at all.
