• It is truly hands free - you can speak to it from across the room. Just make sure your voice is louder than any sound coming from the TV if its playing

• You can go completely handsfree u truly don’t need the remote but I use from time to time if I’m in the kitchen or the game room and the remote hears a lot clearer. So placement becomes a big factor
