can it pick up local channel null

No, the Cube is not an antenna and doesn't pick up local channels.

It suppose to control cable but i found it doesn't control all of them. I have suddenlink and it doesn't support that

I'm not sure what you mean when you ask, "can it pick local channels". The Cube is not an antenna. You can however subscribe to CBS, ABC, NBC, HBO Go, etc., using theri apps on the Fire TV Cube, to get local channels.

I'm on DIRECT TV. I can ask if to switch to satellite but I have to change the channel manually. No voice control on DIRECT TV yet.
