Mostly just brand and personal preference. They all do essentially the same things. Some with different or more features. It kinda all depends on what type of device and how many convenient features you want. Talk to a blue shirt when you're there, they can help pick the best one for you. I'd go with the 4K Fire Stick; buy hey, that's just me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Oh, where to start. To sum it up Roku is number 1 in my book. but is does always do well when traveling and staying at hotels. Requires extra steps to get on to Hotel wifi nd isn't always successful. Also not bluetooth support for headsets. Yes you can use the Remote app but I haven't got it to work yet! Amazon FireStick signs on flawlessly to hotel WiFis and the bluetooth headset works great! My only complain is that the video you purchased cannot be alphabetized. If it did this would be my Number 1 Streaming stick. Chromecast. IGNORE! It is just an easier way to stream your phone or tablet which can be accomplished with free apps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.EACH HAVE THEIR OWN STREAMING PLATFORMS. JUST AS AN EXAMPLE, VIZIO CHROMECAST, TCL ROKU AND TOSHIBA FIRESTICK. THEY BASICALLY HAVE THE SAME STREAMING FEATURES, SUCH AS, HULU, NETFLIX,YOUTUBE TV, MOVIES, SPORTS, ETC. BOTTOM LINE, IT COMES DOWN TO WHICH PLATFORM YOU ARE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH. LIKE CHOOSING IPHONE OR ADROID, THEY BOTH MAKE CALLS, TEXT, AND SO ON. IT JUST BECOMES A MATTER OF PREFERENCE WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have now owned them all. Amazon fire stick is good because you can adjust volume from the remote. You can also “jailbreak” it to allow other apps, as it does try to get you to buy into the whole Amazon subscription thing. Roku worked fine for us for years and still does but doesn’t have as much flexibility as a Firestick. The Chromecast allows you to cast your phone to your tv, but it didn’t always stay connected well for us. It is my least favorite of these options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not much - all good. Roku is the most service agnostic.
