“We have a 4 year old Sony Bravia KDL46W600B TV. We need the Close Caption Feature when watching tv. Does anyone know if the Firestick's Close Captioning will work w/ OUR tv? (The TV itself only allows it to be active if you MUTE the sound, which is CRAZY)”

• There is a setting on the 4K fire stick, which will solve that problem. You will not have to mute the TV. Co into the setting on the fire stick locate the close caption, and turn it on.

• I think it should work. The close captioning on the firetv is separate from your TV. As long as you have an HDMI port on your tv to plug in the stick.

• Firestick does have an option for cc. It should work with your television.
