• Yes, unless you buy the firestick ethernet adapter then hook up your ethernet directly to the firestick and your set. This is recommended if your using your internet on lots of other electronic devices.

• No, it will work through the wired connection but you can connect to wifi if needed which could be useful if using on a different tv.

• Yes, I believe so. Fire sticks do not work unless connect to an internet connection

• Question is do you really need the fire stick? If your TV connects to the ethernet, then it may have built in streaming software. Btw: the fire stick cannot use your TV's network connection.
