You hold the button with the microphone down and speak and it will do anything you need. I'm not sure about linking it with another device however.

Yes it can be linked just go into your settings and go to remote control and link it up that way that’s how I did mine! Once you are in settings and in remote set up Bluetooth and you can connect that way or download the Alexa app is another way! If that doesn’t work call the Amazon store or wherever you purchased it from!
