Yesthe latest version of the fire stick will work just fine. Now for 4k you must plug it into the correct 4k HDMI port.

Oh My! If you remember this is what we had until this past Christmas, and now is in a bedroom. 60 inch Sharp Aquos Quattron. has nothing connected but a fire stick. Live in the boonies and antenna reception is crap so only use wifi. No problems at all, might have to restart now and then just to clear cache.

Yes any tv will work as long as you have an hdmi connection on it.
