It is likely an issue with the app itself, something the developer needs to address. I use Firestick and Roku and have issues with a couple of apps on the firestick that I do not have on my Roku. I would contact the app developer and report the issue to them.

If you continue to have issues with just that app, i would also suggest going to the website of that developer to see if there is any issues they are aware of. Hope that info helps.
