If you jailbreak it and install apps as many as there is channels

I use Amazon prime and monotonic and get over 6000 channels free PvP and movies and local channels only draw back is you need to know what times what you want to watch also has mob NBA and info free gets most countries only 25.00 us dollars a month and very reliable

You can only get the channels by downloading Pacific apps such as DirecTV now and sling TV and so on
