Yes, I know people who" jailbreak" them, it's legal, but do you really want to be taken to illegal sites to watch a movie ? Remember, you're entering your home router wifi password during setup. I wouldn't take the chance, considering how inexpensive Netflix n Hulu, etc are. Live tv apps are more monthly (gotta research what you want for live tv), and local channels free with the new HD antennas out there which are small and indoor antennas.
