“I have a Fire TV Stick 2nd Gen (Alexa Voice Remote). Will it work with a 2009 Dynex 32" LCD TV DX-L32-10A? If so are their problems or other equipment needed to switch back and forth to Verizon Fios cable TV which I indent to retain?”

I wouldn't retain. I haven't had cable for 4 years. This is all I needed. Saved 120 bucks a month.
