You could cancel your cable as long as you keep you wi fi. In order to get all the channels you currently get with cable, you would have to subscribe to a streaming service such as hulu, you tube, etc. Another option is to keep you cable service, but get rid of smaller box in the bedroom. You would then download the Xfinity app to your firestick and then you can get everything you get on the main cable/dvr box. You would save a few dollars for the rental you are paying on the smaller box. There are more options than what i have outlined above. The short answer is that you could get rid of Xfinity and do everything through streaming through your Firestick but you will want to investigate what streaming channels you will actually receive and how much it will cost you for the channels for which there is a monthly fee.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All it is giving you is streaming apps… You will need some sort of Internet access
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Now this is a good looking question!! I would imagine you need some sort of Internet to connect the fire stick - I would call customer service at Amazon or go to live chat and ask them. You probably don’t need cable but you just won’t be able to watch regular TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You only need a router and WiFi. You’ll need fire sticks for all your tv’s. Cable boxes not needed. I needed to purchase a WiFi extender to boost my signal because I have multiple units
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only thing you need is the cable connection. The fire stick will pick up the signal in any room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you cancel cable you need to buy firestick for each tv. Your internet cost might go up somewhat since you cancel cable.
