• Not sure how the Wifi is in Thailand but I used it in Mexico and it works perfectly.

• If you connect to the network over a VPN in the United States. You will need to setup a VPN on the router and get your Fire TV connect to the router that has VPN connected. To accomplish this, you will need to signup a VPN service, Another method would be to redirect the router DNS to a Smart DNS Service

• You should be able to use it in the moon if you have a TV with hdmi and internet access. But, amazon prime streaming is restricted to USA, so... that part no, but it has youbute and netflix, so....
