“I've been told different things about the amazon fire stick and I would like to know if I can watch live TV on it; I wanna get rid of my cable service but I still would like to watch current tv shows/ news”

• At this present moment you can not watch Live TV channels on the stick from Amazon. But if you do a little searching on the internet and are tech savvy, you can do some modification to the stick, and with doing that you can get live tv streaming on the stick !

• In order to watch live tv. You have to download an app onto the firestick called Kodi. There is a step by step tutorial on youtube on how to do that

• You can through Sling TV. It's a service that starts at $20 a month for certain TV channels. It works great!
