There are lots of free channels you can download like crackle ... But for channels like the history channel you would possibly need a subscription to view.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesnt come with any channels of the such. The Fire TV Stick comes with the ability to install certain apps that have these channels if you pay for the service. If you pay for Uverse there is an app for the Fire TV Stick which allows you to login and see youre available channels. Also, the Sling TV app is compatible if you have a subscription with them as well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not come with "Channels" you have to download apps from the amazon app store, and streaming cable channels from apps still requires you to have a cable subscription.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't watch cable channels on it.unless you get it jailbroken or hacked, then you can see everything there is on t.v.!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Those channels have SOME free content, but to get the most from them, you would need to have a participating provider and not just watching OTA TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is going to depend how you decide to set this up. You can put some apps on the stick through your Amazon account. You may also be able to install your cable or satellite provider's app on it, if you have those services. You can also sideload apps without rooting. If that statement was over your head then you may struggle trying to do my next suggestions. You may also want to check out and research "Kodi on Amazon Fire Stick" if you are up for that challenge. You must also remember that the stick is also limited by the small storage size. Good luck and hope you are adventurous. It's worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your channels will depend on the apps you download and whether you've kept you satellite/cable provider. Some apps like History and Discovery require you to input your satellite/cable provider. Since we stopped satellite we no longer get History or Discovery. Check the Fire Stick website for a list of apps and channels.
