wifi concern I really would like to buy this device, but i am unsure if it will slow down our wifi for everyone else. My cousin has netflix for her daughter and netflix slowed down their wifi when she was on it. I'm not sure if this will do the same thing.

I've had the fire stick for a few months now and I haven't experienced any problems with my internet speed or connection. Maybe contact your WiFi company, they should be able to tell you what the issue is.

A device itself doesn't slow down an internet connection, it's the application that is using the internet as a data source, like Netflix, can affect the speed of the connection to other people sharing the same connection. Often you may need to upgrade to a higher service tier if you are streaming lots of media simultaneously.

If you have a dual band router, you can set the firestick to use the other band. Refer to the router manual.

It'll consume WiFi Bandwidth to some extent. If 2-3 users watching Netflix on Same Network then you should have Good Internet Plan.
Fire TV Stick uses same data as any streaming device (Like one more netflix).

Any new device that you add to your wifi will slow the others regardless of what it is, I'll recommend that if you have a lot of devices, you need to increase the speed of your Internet

Streaming video can certainly take up some of your WiFi signal. If you have an older router, and the Fire TV Stick seems to slow your speeds, then it may be time to upgrade your router.

It all comes down to the internet speed in your house. If you have high speed and a good enough pipe down then there won't be any issues. I have 2 of these, and 2 apple tv's , 3 Laptops, 2 PS4s as well as numerous tablets and iPods on our network and we don't see any slow downs. Keep in mind that we also have the fastest internet you can get in our area.

i have several systems operating at the same time, If im correct, internet slowing down would have to do with your router, i think it has to do with your router , need to upgrade it and shouldnt have any problems at all.
