• I would say no. I have a Dot in the hallway about 10 or so feet from the sofa and about 15 feet from the TV (apartment). I do talk more quietly into the remote, rather than how I speak to Alexa on the Dot, and haven't had any issues with my Dot over-hearing my request. That has been my experience. So, again, ... No, it shouldn't be a problem unless your other device has sensitive hearing.

• Hello JCCC, each Amazon device works independently from each other. They will connect and control the same devices connected to your Alexa app, but will not interfere with each other. Have a great day!
