After purchasing this item, you go to Youtube.com & search jailbreak Amazon firestick, there they will instruct you on how to get free movies. Usually you would download the App {Kodi}. Then you can watch ALL the free movies you want...movies that are still & in the movie theaters. Great device...just have to play around with it. HDMI will give you a clear picture, I'm sure if you don't use HDMI, then you would use an adapter; but HDMI is easier. HDMI to VBA adapter or whatever your connection is in your tv.

There are no free movies included in the stick itself. If you have Amazon Prime, then there are movies included in that. It has Netflix, Hulu, Crackle and many other apps that offer streaming content but they require subscriptions.

Yes it does require an HDMI plugin. Fortunately if you don't have that plugin, there are HDMI adapters that can allow you to use one by changing it to a USB port, VGA, etc.
