Yes you can still sideload on the new Fire stick and Fire TV. And yes you can still use Kodi. The YouTube videos Show You by using ES Explorer to install Kodi. But I found an easier way if you have an Android phone or tablet. Download whatever apps you want on your fire stick onto your cell phone then download onto your Android cell phone or tablet an app called. AGK Fire. It's $1.99. You literally Point your phone at your TV while the fire stick is on open the app and then tap on the app in your list that you want on your firestick it will send it to the fire stick and I'll be loaded on and literally 30 seconds. The ES Explorer takes 15 to 20 minutes. Showbox is also another great app for television and movies but to use that app you also need to install a mouse and the mouse app is called Toggle Mouse. The way Showbox is set up it will not allow you to select anything without the mouse. The most is also $1.99 on the App Store. If you do it the way I said you should be able to have everything installed within 10 minutes. Firestik does not have an internet search engine but with this AGK Fire app you can sideload Chrome right from your phone onto your fire stick
