There is some free content through Amazon, but not much. Ultimately, you will want to tie a Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or some other content account to this. I got it mainly for PlayStation Vue and it works very well for that. I do wish it was compatible with Vudu though.

You may want to inquire online of someone in your area that may have experience with programming the device for you.
