Go to the network set timings on the stick and reconnect.

Press the wps button on the router or just unplug, count to 10 replug in, keep firestick on.

The firestick requires a wireless/wifi connection as well. Try connecting it and see if that gets you fixed up .

Do you have WiFi in the home? If not then you won't be able to connect.

One thing I notice about my device was that when I hit the input on my remote and hit the enter button on the firestick it registers on my HDMI3 port but I have to go to me HDMI1 port to view the channels.
