“I have an Amazon Firestick for my Panasonic TV, I have done everything correctly and I cannot install it. I have taken it back to where I purchased and they said it worked fine. I was wondering if I need to have an SD card in my TV as well as internet.”

Make sure to apply the update in the fire tv stick. If you got it at bestbuy exchage it for another one. Then take it to the geek squad and they can set it up there for you before you take it home. Just tell them that you got one already that didnt work. The fire tv stick should work on any tv with hdmi input.

It takes a bit to get use to using the wheel. you click to move to select numbers. Similar to clicking on the Apple ipods. You will need an Amazon account. If you do not have one, set up one First (free) before setting up your fire stick. You need to set up. I have a Toshiba TV and hooked my fire stick through the HDM. You have to set up with HDMI or USB. Then you have to go to output source and choose the HDMI slot you put the fire stick (HDMI1, HDMI2, etc) or the USB source. It should then show on your TV like a DVD or any other component. You may also check YOUTUBE for tips, search "install amazon fire stick", would bring up many videos. You'll also find tips for other set up options (for free stuff) once you load. Hope this helps.
