Yes it will, if you go into the settings of the Amazon Fire stick, you can connect to your wifi. I recommend, if you have the option, to use the 5ghz wifi instead of the 2.4ghz as it is a faster connection because you aren't moving around the house so much, other then that, any type of wifi speed would work.

That's the only way it would work with the wifi so you need wifi to use the Amazon Fire stick
