You may have some "dead" spots in your house which are preventing the wireless signal from reaching the device. Have you tried swapping the Firestick device upstairs in place of the Roku stick? If so, does it work better. Try it and see.

If it's not the apps, try getting a something from BestBuy to make your internet connection stronger. I needed one cos my connection wasn't strong in my bedroom. Try running speedtest.net
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is the internet. If too many devices running, it will do that. If your firestick is further away from router, that can cause buffering too. If streaming live tv it happens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's normally the server that you are streaming from slowing down if you get buffering. Most of the time I can just hit the back button on my remote and choose another source and it will play fine.
