• No you won't; well not for free.. you can modify it to download your favorite shows but that requires some technical knowledge. Out of the box it doesn't do live tv unless you pay for an app to do so.

• Your Firestick goes in to HDM-1 and your TV cord in to another. You can record your regular shows while watching an -Amazon prime movie.

• The stick has to be "jail broken" in order to get live tv.
