I'm not sure if it will work with a projector but it might. If I leave my tv on what ever hdmi I have the stick plugged into and hit the center button on the remote it turns on my tv. It's possible it could do the same with a projector.

I found that the, Recoto Infrared Range Extention System is what will work for me. Model # DSC - IR100A, its $53.99. It will add up to 100ft. To the range of my Projector Remote. Thank you again for your help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the projector is Smart TV style , then possible. My firestick remote turns on my tv because the TV recognizes when the remote is touched for access. But other than that there is no power button on the remote even for firestick.
