“I am new to this Amazon Echo/Fire Stick technology. I have a Echo that I just recently purchased, will Fire TV Stick and Sideclick replace my Harmony remote to voice control TV/Stereo/DVD/Direct TV via voice control?”

I believe it may work. I would try it with Amazon fire stick first and see before buying it. Better yet do what I do and google it and see.

No, it will not replace your Harmony remote. Like the Xfinity remote, the voice commands only work for the associated device. Xfinity voice only controls the Xfinity box & the Fire Stick voice only searches Amazon TV.
