Yes it works on YouTube you can watch various videos everything you can actually hook the fire stick up to your cell phone

So you'd be able to say things like "play classic rock" and the Fire Stick would launch Amazon Prime Music and start playing a mix of classic rock. If you're in the YouTube app and about to start typing in the search bar, you can not use the voice remote to populate your search... Hope that helps.
