Do I have to use a smart tv to use roku or fire stick null

Hi Penny, A smart TV is not required for the Fire Stick. I use one with a basic computer monitor with an HDMI input. In fact, I think it's better to not have a smart TV over time, as I suspect that upgrading a USB stick will be easier and cheaper.
