• More than likely they hacked the kodi program onto it, enabling it to watch alot more movies, even current ones in theaters.

• That means it is rooted which gives you full acces to the operating system which is android. Its only something that can be used if your familiar with it. Otherwise just install Kodi and be done with it. Jail break not needed.
