Yes you can. You tube has several videos of apps you can download

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The apps are available to download once you plugin and active the fire tv stick. You will have to find an app that will allow you to watch live tv. I use the playstation vue app that provides a lot of cable stations, including the ESPN Family, NFL Network, NBATV, and Fox Sports Networks and is a lot cheaper than cable or satellite. I cannot watch local stations with playstation vue (I also tried sling tv and could not watch local stations) and the cable stations while live do operate on a short 1-2 minute delay because they are coming over the internet so if you get score alerts on your phone you may not want to check it close to the end of a game.
