You can get an echo and sync it to your fire tv. This allows you to play pause ect on videos without touching the remote. However, the fire tv remote has Alexa built into the remote. So it'll do all the things echo can except you have to press and hold the mic button in order to speak to Alexa. It's not hands free like the echo.
