Why do movies freeze up on my fire stick? null

Your Firestick is too far from your router to the internet

It can be many reasons, however it's most likely to be your internet connection. Remember you're streaming these movies and they're not downloaded onto the fire stick itself. Good internet connection is essential.

There should be a speed test app you can download on the fire stick. Sounds like a connection issue

There are several reasons why this is happening. One: high traffic times on the server you are accessing or for your internet provider either one of these could causing a slow-down and/or freezing of your data stream. Two: Not having enough bandwidth for the quality of show you chose, meaning the higher the quality of the source (show) the more bandwidth (internet speed) is needed to provide an unbroken (no buffering) stream. Three: The server you select could just be of such poor quality that it is incapable of providing the necessary speed to give you enjoyable viewing.

Go to settings and clear up your cache that should help. Also keep in mind how fast your Internet may be or the quality of the video stream you are watching ex: 1080p,HD,SD,

Nope once you have a strong internet connection you should be fine

Could be slow internet or need an update.
