Hey there, I read your post and it's quite interesting because I'm having the same issue and mines was new out the box. But my case I would just take one battery out and put it back in and it would work, I even put new batteries in and still have to take one out here and there! I'm assuming it's the remote itself idk but that's my issue with mines. Hope it helps and God bless!
