There are many factors that you need to consider. Your internet speed, the placement of your modem, and the time of day. I'm quite happy with the firestick.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't compared the Roku stick against the Fire TV but I can say that I have issues with the Fire TV because it buffers quite a bit when watching other apps besides Amazon Prime content. I was told that at internet 25 I didn't have enough Mpbs so I would have to upgrade to internet 50 which would give me a max of 50 Mbps to squash the buffering issue. I didn't have the buffering issue with the Fire Stick as opposed to the Fire TV. By the way, I'm speaking with experience streaming DirectV Now on my Fire TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This stick has more storage space than the original one less buffering
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get a firetv and look up mobdro and buffering apps.. it will work better than a roku. Buy this over a roku. Roku is a waste of money
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far I have had psvue and directv now. Directv now is better for sports in my opinion. I haven’t noticed lag while watching ice hockey as I did with psvue.
