No, this version does not provide a USB nor SD expansion port. The previous version (2015 model) is still available and provides both.

Please try again later.I agree with everything 4CalTech said, except for this one point: although many streaming services require a subscription, there are a lot that don't. You can get live network television from USTVNOW, other free channels from Pluto.tv and FilmOn, free movies from Crackle, Tubi TV, Big Star Movies, and other places. So if you're willing to use these other services, it is possible to save a lot of money compared to subscribing to cable. Of course, these free services may not have the content you want, so there's a trade-off involved. But it is possible to completely do away with all paid TV subscriptions and make do with just Internet access. Another issue to keep in mind is that not all of these services have Amazon Fire TV apps. However, you can install Kodi on Amazon Fire TV using the "downloader" app and thereby get access to most of these services anyway. You just have to stay away from the Kodi addons that stream pirated content as those are risky from a privacy and security standpoint.
