simple. takes less than 7 minutes

It's very simple to connect. Unpack it, connect the power cord to the pendant and to the power adaptor, plug it into any HDMI port on your TV. When it boots up, you'll first need to pair the remote by tapping the home button. Then select your language preferance. Next select your wifi network and enter your wifi password. Last, you'll need to register it to your Amazon Account. If you do not have an Amazon account, go to amazon.com and sign up for free (you can skip the step for adding a credit card to the account). DO NOT USE the create account feature on the FireTV3. Go to the Amazon website and sign up for your new account if you don't have one already.

Super easy. It took less than 5 mins to plug in and set up Amazon and Netflix since I was already a member of these services, I just needed to select and login. You do have to sign in for each additional service you want to use, but it saves info, so its just a 1 time set up. Takes another 2-3 mins each to set up Hulu, or Sling or whatever services you already have or might want to add.
