I have tried to get it to read to me and it only works one page at a time. I made it to where the book was one continuous page and it would still read only one page at a time. So yes it will read to you and read well, but you would constantly have to stop everything to go to the next page as far as I know.

VoiceView screen reader, available over Bluetooth audio, provides spoken feedback allowing you to navigate your device and read books with text-to-speech (available in English only). You'll just need to connect your Kindle to a Bluetooth headset or speaker to use the feature, as Kindles do not have built in speakers.
