It is almost impossible to see the screen if wearing sunglasses.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although Amazon has improved the Fire's ability to be used outdoors it is NOT as easy to read in the sun as her Kindle Keypad. I've had numerous Kindles and I love my Kindle Fire, but if I were mainly using it to read outdoors in full sun I would probably stick with one of the dedicated e-readers. I've read my Fire outside, but if I'm going to the lake I'm taking my Paperwhite for beach reading.
