• Make sure she does not have the device still active on her account as one of her devices.

• There should be a button on top to press and hold till it turns orange.

• Hello Waterproof, hold the multi-function button on top of the Echo Dot (button with a dot icon) down for 10 seconds until the light turns orange. Proceed to set up the device in the Alexa app on a mobile device.
