Excellent product if you are feeling too lazy to get out of the bed to turn off the lights. Can be used just in case you forgot to turn an appliance/lights off after you leave the house. The only issue is that it is pretty bulky and it doesn't fit behind a desk that is against the wall. But pretty solid and reliable product overall.

Amazon Smart Plug works well with the Alexa app and Echo Dot 3rd gen. Only it was difficult to find what location on mobile phone apps was needed to set it up. Finally found the right app and location to open. It was probably a Google app. on this android phone. It is used to plug in my China Cabinet light, and then say, "Alexa, turn on/off first plug".

I was disappointed that it didn’t work with devices in standby mode. That was my error though. Now I can’t live without these plugs. They turn my turtles light on via Alexa and it’s just super handy! Get yourself a few and you’ll be happy you did!

Works with Alexa. Very responsive and reliable. Just want i needed for my reptile lighting set up. I set a schedule for the light over the tank to simulate daylight and night schedule. Would definitely recommend. Easy and quick set up. Going to buy more!!! Only issue is the plug covers 2 ports on the power strip...but not a deal breaker.

After trying a few different plugs, can tell you this is best one out there. Get all the bang for your buck. Sets up in minutes; plug it in, set up in app & that’s it! Bought just before Christmas, so almost 5 months, and haven’t had to touch it since first day set it up. Buy & you won’t regret it. 5 STARS! Highly Recommend!

This review is for the Amazon smart plug in white. I have several of these around the house to control lights with alexa. At Christmas time I have these controlling laser lights outside. Not only can you use voice commands, but you can set up scenes and schedules to run automatically. All done from your phone.

I leave for work early, still dark! Allows me to turn the lights off while I'm at work from my Alexa app or by pre programming my Alexa Show 5. Great security features! Loved it so much, bought several more!

The Amazon Smart Plug is wonderful, i love it. This plug is easily connected to my Amazon Echo Plus 2nd Generation and controlled my Humidifier with routine schedules.

Alexa, turn on the living room light.... and it works. Alexa, turn off the living room light. Home automation made easy if you use Amazon Alexa devices. Set up was easy and have no issues with it.

These devices work great. You can program them on a timer through Alexa. Turn on lights, fans, and other electrical devices that can be manually turned on. Great for security and convenience.

Yep! I said it! Perfect! This plug is a snap to set up with the Alexa app. Also a lot of videos on YouTube to make it easier yet. Took me about 2 minutes to make it work. It is totally compatible Amazon Alexa . It can be turned off & on by voice command through Alexa speaker. Can be turn off & on manually with button on the side of the plug. Can be turned off & on from anywhere in the world that has internet access with the Amazon Alexa app on your cell phone. Can also be turned off and on automatically with timers on the Alexa app. You can buy other plugs for a lot cheaper price, but after reading tons of reviews I found the Amazon Smart Plug standing far above all the others. You can also give the plug any name of your choice by simply typing it in with the Alexa app. I named this plug Christmas Trees because that is what I'm using it for right now. I can change that name any time I feel like it. I am little by little getting more of these plugs, switches, door locks. etc. & slowing turning my house into a smart home. I can't say how well other smart plugs function. All I know is what I read in reviews. Be especially skeptical of off brand MULTI PACKS. Most reviews show me that at least one of the plugs in off brand MULTI PACKS don't work at all. And if you want to return the bad plug you can't just return it by itself. You have to return all of them in their original packaging. Isn't that just wonderful after you have already set up some of the plugs only to have to return all of them in order to get ones that work. Save yourself the roll of the dice and get this one right from the get go, not to mention the trouble of having to start the whole process all over again. Stick with Amazon for all your Smart Home devices. I think you'll be glad you did.
