The 7800X3D is the same price as the 5800X3D. Reason behind it being the 7800 is on a very new AM5 platform which has its limits and can only be pushed so far beyond the limits. The 5800 is the greatest AM4 socket CPU out there right now. It is the end game CPU for any AM4 users.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.7800x3d is an am5 cpu. That not relevant for someone who doesn't want to upgrade their entire setup to am5 Motherboard.

For current AM4 users, the 5800X3D is the best in socket upgrade, and a very competitive CPU even with ryzen 7000 non 3D cpu’s. There are also higher costs involved in an AM5 build compared to simply doing a cpu swap. It’s a matter of budget and convenience.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you don't have to buy a new motherboard and Ram. Good point though usually you can find it cheaper through WalMart.com and Newegg, BestBuy is more then happy to price match in store if you just have the address either pulled up or you bring in a flyer. The prices are only solid for those who know the rules. Play by them use them to help yourself. Always Remember BestBuy also has stores. Homosapiens employees, Warrantee policies, and 100% They stand behind and Guarantee their Sales Products.
