I haven't had this issue, It never gets hot on my end, just warm to the touch. I have them on wall outlets and extension cords for convenience, one thing is you shouldn't have them covered in any way, especially under fabrics. Other than that I'd assume a bad unit or human error. Hope this helps.

If this occurs, it is indicative of a defect. Here are some possible steps to troubleshoot the problem: Ensure Compatibility: Confirm that your device is compatible with the charger. Check Cables and Outlet: Test with a different USB-C cable and wall outlet to ensure the issue does not stem from the power supply. Inspect Protective Cover: If your device has a protective case, try removing it, as thickness might impede proper charging. Use Recommended Power Supply: Ensure you're using a Quick Charge or Power Delivery wall adapter that meets the recommended specifications. If the charger continues to overheat or exhibit unsafe behavior, it should not be used to avoid further risks.
