I would suggest using www.tvfool.com to find distance and direction to towers and a compass to point. I use mine indoors and I am very pleased with it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I live on the bottom floor of a 3 story condo building and I mounted it on the bars of my window (city living) on my westward facing balcony and I received ALL local HD channels, even though 2 of the 3 major antennas are south east and north east. My previous Mohu indoor antenna only picked up one direction or another. Love this antenna! I live in San Diego, CA.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all it would probably work inside, however it being a outdoor antenna that is not power amplified your range would be cut in half. However if you were to go up to the third floor of you building and mount it reception would be dramatically increased and the best possible outcome would be achieved. If you were to even mount it outside on you deck or pourch area it would be fine. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a clear view to the broadcast towers without obstructions I would say yes. If there are other buildings in line of sight to the towers, you won't know until you try it... Sorry, but that is the best answer. Thanks!
