I live in a rural area with lots of tall trees. Winds above 15-20 mph do disrupt the signal so that the TV reception cuts in and out. We get great reception when the wind is calm, but can tell as soon as the wind starts to pick up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. An old question, but I'll answer it, anyway. High winds should have very little effect on reception unless the winds move your antenna. Heavy rain and snow can cause signal disruption, just like digital satellite signals will drop out in heavy precipitation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We haven't noticed any difference, because everything is bolted securely once you find the stations. We've recently had some high gusts (59mph) but nothing has changed in our reception.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Due to nature of antenna (digital air-wave), weather will not affect the quality of signal it provides.
